Footwear Design & Development Institute and Benefits of Fashion Design Colleges

Winter is the time to really showcase your fashion statement and buying fancy footwear is your best way to shine, pun intended. In summers you usually don’t care about footwear because nothing is more comfortable than Hawaiian chappals or sandals during those days. Just the thought of putting on socks and shoes disgusts you to the core. It is different in winters though, as you can wear classy shoes and flaunt your style.

Many graduates from footwear design & development institute have come up with shoes trends to match your class this winter.

Leather low-top sneakers

Nothing works against the winter chill better than leather, while also looking elegant. Adidas, Nike and other big brands are all coming up with leather sneakers for this winters. Nike, especially, is already growing big on its Air Max 90s. Even Converse has its Chuck Taylor All-stars series for the chilly weather.

Monk Straps

If you love wearing formals during winters, monk straps are the shoes for you. Typical shoes for purists, their leather skinned Italian design raises your class level tenfolds. Giuseppe Zanotti and Valentino are leaders in making elegant monk straps which you can wear to office, dinner dates and even parties. Vagabond, a Swedish shoemaker, also has its line of monk straps to trigger envy in the people who watch your gait.  Many fashion design colleges are also backing their students to produce monk straps designs for the upcoming winters.

Hiking boots

Because of the fact that hiking boots are more of a utility than a style statement, many designers don’t put much effort into their style. But artists like Diemme want to leave their mark on every products and their homemade Roccia Vet boot is a combination of hiking ruggedness and style. Fracap and Timberland have also come up with elegant hiking boots for the winters.
