Footwear Design & Fashion Development Institutes

And before you judge me for making this pompous statement, I request you to just hear me out. I am famous for my footwear not because I have a great taste, or that I have too much money, or that I am a footwear designer. I am famous for having an abundance of stylish and unique footwear because my super cool best friend is a footwear designer.

She is currently studying in the most well-known footwear design and development institute of the nation. And no, she does not gift me so many pairs just because I am her best friend. She is just repaying her debt of gratitude as I was the own who encouraged her to pursue a course centred on footwear design and development. I had always been keen on pursuing MBA from a leading management college. She, on the other hand, was as clueless as one can get. I remember the day when we were just chilling at a nearby cafĂ© when she pointed out something to me.  I saw her staring at one woman’s cute boots. She started rambling about how those boots were cute but could have looked even better if some other material were used. I ignored her since this was one of her most annoying habits. Pointing at other people’s footwear and talking at length about their material, style, cost etc. came very naturally to her. That day too she was in a mood to keep talking when suddenly an idea struck me. Seeing her passion for footwear, I suggested her to try for a footwear design course in the best fashion design colleges. She actually liked my idea for the first time. That very night she went home and did her research about all courses related to footwear. While courses related to footwear aren’t as well-known as other courses like fashion and interior designing, but they are slowly and steadily gaining popularity.

She started preparing for the entrances from the very next week and see where she is now. She loves her course and can never thank me enough. Now you say; do I not deserve to get free footwear from her? And because she is so good, I really am famous for my footwear.

Men’s Shoes For Rains

The concept of fashion is involved in everything that we wear today. Be it our clothes or our accessories or the footwear- we want all of them to be fashionable and trendy. Fashion Design Colleges teaches fashion designing individually for men, women and children- because of the variety in styles.

Because fashion is everywhere, fashion designing involves designing of footwear, in addition to the clothes. The footwear design & development institute provides study of designing different footwear for different regions and different weathers.

With monsoon around the corner, footwear designers have come up with some of the exciting styles that protects you from the mud while maintaining your fashion quotient! With these shoes, you can get drenched in rain and splash through the muddles without thinking twice. Here’s a list of options for men for this foul weather.

•    Ankle rain boots: It is for all those men out there who don’t wish to draw people’s attention while they wear the knee length rain boots. Because they’re up till ankles, they will save you effectively from the mud and won’t look like typical rain boots.

•    Sneakers: Although sneakers are not water resistant, and you cannot directly enter in puddles wearing them, the leather ones do enough for the light drizzle. If you don’t wish to alter your look by boots, go grab the sneakers.

•    Duck boots: These casual rugged looking duck boots give you a cowboy dude look and they’re just perfect for the rains because of their length. It is for men who prefer to keep it stylish and edgy.

•    Rubber overshoes: These are not actually shoes, they’re more like overshoes providing cover for your office wear during rain. You can easily peel these thin, flexible and cheap rubber overshoes off when you reach your office.

Men Footwear Styles

We’ve all heard of types of women shoes. Flats, wedge heels, stilettos, boots and what not! In this ultra-fashionable world, these footwear come in a variety of styles, designs and materials such as leather, canvas, wood, plastic and jute. But we shouldn’t forget that men are entitled to the versatility of footwear just as much as ladies are! A footwear design & development institute gives study on the designs of footwear for both men and women. Here, let’s have a look at some of the popular types of men footwear, varied according to style and occasion.

•    Oxford: Oxfords are typical leather shoes of men with closed lacing and non-rubber sole. Although black oxfords best go with the formal suits, on for formal events, they can also be used in casual parties when worn in varying colors.
They’re basically like all-rounder shoes.

•    Loafers: The main feature of loafers is the absence of laces and buckles. These are like slip-ons of girls, which serve the casual purposes. They generally have heels, though fairly flat, giving them a dressy look.

•    Cap toes: Cap toes are like decorated oxfords. While oxfords are plain with no extra features on the top portion, cap toes are characterized with an extra layer or band of leather over the toe giving it an edgy and stylish look.

•    Dress boots: These are slim ankle length boots which hold the feet and legs snugly. Yes! Even men can wear boots. They are slightly heeled and look best with the slim fit denims.

•    Monk strap: Monk straps have same relation to loafers that cap toes have with oxfords. Yes! These are decorated loafers. Monk straps do not have laces, just like loafers but may have a metal buckle on sides.

And if the concept of designing these footwear interests you, you should take a “foot” forward and step into a fashion university.
