Extra-Ordinary Fashion Designing Course & Top Fashion Schools

Despite the advancement the fashion industry has observed in the last decade, many people in India still seem to consider fashion designing as the most obvious and perhaps the only career option in the industry. Glamour, clothes, models, page 3 parties etc. are things that immediately cross people’s minds when one talks of the fashion industry. While those are integral elements, there is much more to do and learn in the sector. Apart from the most obvious fashion designing course, fashion institutes offer courses in leather design, textile design, fashion communication, accessory design, jewellery design and manufacturing, footwear design to name a few. And while the courses may seem like a piece of cake, they are highly demanding which require students to be absolutely committed, passionate, and disciplined.

From an apparel and/or accessory designer, fashion editor, fashion consultant to a celebrity stylist, merchandiser, retail expert- there are so many options you could choose from if only you have a strong inclination towards the role as well as creative ideas and ability to put them on paper or computer. In fact, with so many fashion applications in the virtual market today, the fashion industry is expanding even further to encompass a variety of roles that could not be even imagined of earlier.

However, it is imperative that you complete your fashion education from one of the top fashion schools in the desired field first. Rigorous training would help you identify your strengths and work on your weaknesses. It will also help bring out your creative side and give you a push in the right direction. The detailed courses would ensure that your basics are in place and help you build upon those basics. Fashion education from a top school is challenging and you will have to prove your mettle to not only get good opportunities in the future, but to even survive in the fashion school. The road to success in fashion would be eventful and difficult, but in the end you would realise that it was worth it!
